We are a few people who share the same Lawrence ancestry who have combined our information and data in the hope that it may give us a glimmer of a chance to compile an accurate family tree. We have used the blanket approach to research, gathering all instances of the name to enable us to work out who is who. Which means that there are some Lawrence's here who don't belong to us (yet!)

We have amassed a fair amount of data, some of which is on the website, some is on it's way to being on the website, and some is still to be researched (when we have a spare moment). We have tried to be as accurate as we can, but if you spot any mistakes, or have any further research you would like to add to this website, please contact us.

We have also compiled a number of family branches (not yet complete enough to be classified as trees), linking a lot of the names found in these pages - in addition to our own extended tree, which we would be happy to share, or suggest possible avenues for further searches. We purposely haven't put these branches linked to names on the site, because we don't want to spoil the thrill of you doing your own detective work, but would be delighted to hear of any of the  trees you have compiled, or if you are really stuck, we may possibly be able to help.

Please note that we DON'T want to be sent any information about living relatives OR anything less than 100 years old - we really don't want the responsibility of handling data that could possibly endanger the privacy of any living Lawrence family member.
